Our project
Discover the project and objective of Magnolia
Our project enhances each child’s abilities through sensory, motor, and intellectual capacities, integrating traditional methodologies with the latest insights, such as those from Maria Montessori, Glenn Doman, Howard Gardner, Bernard Aucouturier, and Loris Malaguzzi (Reggio Emilia)

Multiple intelligences
Holistic education emphasizes the development of multiple intelligences as per Howard Gardner, blending intellectual abilities with emotional qualities. Beyond technical knowledge, it focuses on values and social skills.

Early learning
In our school, Glenn Doman’s methodology focuses on maximizing children’s high learning capacity in their early years, using auditory, visual, and physical stimulation techniques, integrated in a natural and fun way.

VESS Certified School
This pedagogical model is based on the culture of thought, focused on teaching children to think, reason, and question. Through thinking routines, they learn to process information and apply it in various situations. More information

Trilingual School
At Magnòlia Sant Cugat, we use Catalan, Spanish, and English from the very first months of a child’s life. For English language learning, we use the TET method, which is based on routines, songs, and games, allowing children to learn the language naturally and spontaneously as part of their daily activities.

Psychomotor skills
At Magnòlia, early development (0-6 years) in neural, motor, and emotional areas is valued. Psychomotor activities are used to promote bodily expression and motivation in a welcoming environment, including activities like balancing and jumping. These practices are integrated with the Early Learning Program.

Art and music
At Magnòlia, music is key to child development, used for communication, expression, and enjoyment. It aids in improving memory, concentration, coordination, rhythm, and sensory stimulation. Daily musical activities include listening sessions, songs, instruments, dances, and musical games.

Green School
Magnòlia contributes to the environment by integrating recycling, water saving, and care for forests and planets, along with an urban garden in its project. This program aims to involve educational centers in building a more sustainable world for the future of children.

Emotional education
At Magnòlia, we foster an environment where the child feels loved and welcomed through motivation, interest, and the desire to overcome new challenges, allowing the child to advance in understanding the environment and themselves. This approach achieves a comprehensive and solid education for life.

Relationship with families
We understand that family collaboration and participation are key in education. That’s why we encourage daily contact between the family and each student’s tutor, as it’s important to work together to promote the child’s harmonious and comprehensive development.

UNESCO
Magnòlia, associated with UNESCO since 1997-98, adheres to its mission to promote international cooperation and peace through education. It focuses on teaching solidarity, tolerance, and respect, as well as enhancing the understanding of diverse cultures, all supported by family involvement for the comprehensive development of the child.

Annual project
Our center annually develops a project based on the VESS model, with a monthly focus on different Inquiry Units, artists, and countries. Daily activities follow this framework, incorporating modern and diverse pedagogical practices, guided by protocols set by the teaching team.

Yoga Teacher Training
In Magnolia, child yoga in English has been integrated to complement the child’s holistic development, led by a Yoga Teacher Training. This practice aims to improve body control, self-esteem, channel energy, and promote healthy habits, aligning with the school’s English language immersion.

Solidarity school
Guardería Magnòlia engages in charitable projects, including clothing collection with GLOOR, food drives with the FOOD BANK, supporting FUNDACIÓ VICENTE FERRER during Sant Jordi, and a Christmas campaign for collecting toys for hospitalized children, fostering empathy and solidarity in children.
